SPRING MUSICAL “Nifty Fifty”
APRIL 4--The Pearson School students from grades K through 5 will present “Nifty Fifty” for our Spring Musical on Wednesday, April 4th. Tickets are $2.00 each. The performance will take place at the Walnut Street School at 7:00 pm.
SPRING BREAK BEGINS
APRIL 5--Early Dismissal at 12:40 pm on Thursday, April 5th BREAKFAST AND LUNCHES WILL NOT BE SERVED. Delanco School will be closed for Spring Break April 6th – April 13th Classes will resume on Monday, April 16th.

APRIL 16 --Monday, April 16th Walnut Street Picture Day
APRIL 17 --Tuesday, April 17th Pearson School Picture Day
REPORT CARDS
APRIL 18--On Wednesday, April 18th students will receive their 3rd quarter report cards. For Pearson School students please sign the envelope and return it to school by Thursday, April 19th.
APRIL BOARD OF EDUCATION MEETING
APRIL 18--The regular monthly meeting of the Board of Education will take place on Wednesday, April 18th at 7:30 pm in the Pearson Elementary School Cafeteria. The public is welcome.
PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES
APRIL 18--Parent/Teacher conferences will take place at both the Walnut Street and Pearson Schools on April 18th, 19th, and 20th. Students will be dismissed at 12:40 pm.
BREAKFAST AND LUNCHES WILL NOT BE SERVED.
SCHOOL TRIPS
APRIL 26--Thursday, April 26th Kindergarten Classes will visit the Philadelphia Zoo.
KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION FRIDAY, APRIL 27TH
APRIL 27--Students in Kindergarten will be dismissed at 12:40 pm on Friday, April 27th for 2012-2013 Kindergarten Registration. Lunches will be served to Kindergarten students.
Registration will be from 1:00 – 3:00 pm at the Pearson Elementary School. If you have a child or know of a child who will be eligible for Kindergarten (MUST be 5 years old by October 1st, 2012), please call Nancy Fox at (856) 461-1905 for a registration packet.

8th GRADE FUNDRAISER
APRIL 27--There will be a Band Concert with “Kickin Chickins” (Mr. Mount’s Band) and other guests on Friday, April 27th at the Walnut Street School Auditorium at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $5.00 and can be purchased at the door. All ages are welcome.
DISTRICT TESTING SCHEDULE
APRIL 23-26 --NJASK Grades 7 & 8
APRIL 30-MAY 3 --NJASK Grades 5 & 6
MAY 7-11 --NJASK Grades 3 & 4
It is important that all children are in attendance during their grade level testing. Please do not schedule vacations etc. during your child’s testing week.
